I never liked the S Coupe in pictures. When we moved into our current building, there’s a S63 that lives here and having seen it in person, up close (and now having seen more on the road) I have to say that I love the damned things.

I like the smaller BMW’s, the 5 is OK and beyond that they can burn. The 6 is fugly, the 7 was left on the air hose for too long and it’s nostrils are WAY too big. The X1 is meh at best, the X3 is as bad as it ever was, the X5 is another air hose + nostrils case with the added bonus of looking melted, the X6 don’t even start.

It looks great in the pic if I cover the front or the back, but the two halves look like they came from two different cars.

It LOOKS (not is) too long.

I disagree about the in person thing. At night it looks great. In daylight dat ass doesn’t look right with those small taillights.

I think it’s meant to look long, the CL was pretty big and I think this is bigger. I actually like the tail lights, I think the refresh will be better because a lot of design elements will be ironed out. They will be getting rid of the dropping line on the side which should make it look more proportioned.
